Waiting for a unit capable of writing at 24x, which TDK has announced for
this fall, we have received from Casettaro company a 16/10/40 unit.. Before
any comment regarding the unit, we have to mention that it is the only piece
of equipment which had an installation guide in Romanian, which even if it was
not an installation manual - with a very complete version in English - was an
important help for those who have trouble installing this kind of devices..
CDRW161040X also benefits from a connecting ribbon, audio cable, screws and
a pencil for inscription the CDs.. In the box you may also find the two writing
environments - 16x CD-R 16x and 10x CD-RW.
The price declared by the distributor is the lowest in its performance category
and the results achieved during our tests, even if they were slightly below
the ones of the winners, are still remarkable..
