These agreements have facilitated the participation in exchange programmes for teaching staff and students, foreign language lecturers and also the participation in scientific projects, exchange of specialised publications, etc.
Other ways of supporting the internationalization policy of the university which have been successfully promoted are the participation in European education programmes like TEMPUS and research programmes like COPERNICUS and PECO as well as the organization of international summer courses in Romanian Language (the traditional Summer Language Course has been organized for the last 25 years), in Biochemistry, Computer Science, and Plasma Physics.
The coordination of international activities is mainly achieved within the Department of International Relations and University Image, whose activity is guided by a Vice-Rector.
