The main form of activity for all faculties are lectures, seminars, laboratory work, practical pedagogical work and scientific research. The psychopedagogical formation of the future teachers is done through the Pedagogical Seminar, an institution that is going to be back in use in order to give the unitary training for future specialists.

The University of Iasi provides postgraduate programmes in different fields. The faculties with pedagogic profiles ensure refresher courses for high school staff in several Moldavian counties.

Also, our University provides doctoral programmes and awards academic degrees to PhD, Doctor and Doctor Honoris Causa.
