The "ERASMUS" Office within the Department of International Relations and University Image and each Faculty Secretariat are in charge of the registration of ECTS students. After contacting the ECTS departmental coordinator, foreign guest students are to report FIRST to the "ERASMUS" Office as soon as possible. The Office is situated on the second floor of the main University building, near the Rectorate (Blv. Copou, 11).

The actual status of the ECTS students must be recognized both by the home institution and by the host institution, i.e., the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi. Please hand in your correspondence concerning your ECTS status to the registration officer at the Faculty Secretariat. In order to be registered, you will have to present the following documents:

• a written statement by the departmental ECTS coordinator concerning the Romanian language course;

• a photocopy of your passport;

• (a copy of) your student card from your home university.

The Department of International Relations will take care of the formalities required for obtaining your student card. This student card is your identification document in the university and gives you the right of access to libraries and other facilities open to the Iasi students.
